Frank Martin made in 1946 a couple of snapshots from Madeleine and Dinu together with his wife Maria in the sanatorium 'La Moubra' in the mountain area of Montana between Sion and Brig in Switzerland, where Lipatti had tried to recover on several occasions from his leaukemia which led to his tragic and early death on December 2, 1950
